A Bit of Background
HOW WE GOT STARTED
It really started with myself, Krystal, I’ve had a passion for animals since I was little, my first dog was a Labrador Retriever named KC. The Disney movie, 101 Dalmatians, gave me my expectation of how many dogs I could really have at one time (haha). I was raised in a small town in McCormick, SC while Josh (my husband) was raised in the neighboring county of Greenwod. Josh has been an avid hunter all his life, whatever season is in you can find him hunting. So naturally when we started dating, we hit it off because I hunted as well but only deer. Fast forward to 2018 we bought our first house together. As a surprise I got Josh an early birthday/Christmas present our male, Timber (a yellow lab), from a friend of mine. From fetching doves & ducks for us to tracking our deer if needed, he’s been exceptional! We didn’t have any breeders around us at the time and really wanted to keep his line going whenever it was his time to retire (which he has now due to being CKC registered we only wanted to go the route of AKC), so that’s when we decided to breed. We got Ivy the next year and loved her inside demeanor. We decided to start raising them ourselves for companion and hunting dogs, something versatile that everyone will enjoy. We have been breeding since 2020, with a focus on breeding healthy dogs and making the transition from our loving home to yours as easy as possible.

Wicked Flyer Retrievers is owned and ran by Krystal & Josh Bearden. Located in the small town of Troy, SC. We strive to breed the best dogs we can, educate their new owners and ensure the puppies get the love, care and attention they deserve.
Our dogs are genetically health tested through PawPrint Genetics/Embark & OFA certified (Hips, Elbows, Eyes, and Hearts). We also offer a 2 year health guarantee on all of our puppies. All of our puppies are socialized individually as well as in the group by exposing them to noises and other animals. They have a play gym in their pen as well as outside to interact with. We also have swings, pools, ramps, platforms, tunnels, slides, and many more things for them to play with. We try to get them exposed to as much as possible for future families.
All of our puppies go with: - Their registration paperwork - Health Record (being utd on deworming & first shots will be given before going home)- 2 year health guarantee/puppy contract - TruPanion Pet Insurance - food- Brochure for tips, tricks, and helpful things for your new baby (TruPanion & Purina), Birth Certificate, Microchip transfer paperwork- Puppy Kit that includes: a toy basket filled with a blanket, a plush or stuffingless toy, a rubber bone for chewing, a ball, puppy pads, lick pad, baby shampoo, puppy wipes, Kong treat samples, travel bowl, we also sendthe first month of preventions home, and many more items,(because we’re sure to keep adding things to help out)
We also offer Snuggle Puppies at a more discounted rate than you could purchase in the store as well if interested
